THE ILLUSION OF CHOICE

Australians need to wake up. One Nation is not the saviour party.

They are aligned with Israel, and their policy on it has not been released — in my view, for a reason. That silence is the question. Do they support a two-state settlement? Do they accept the findings on Gaza? Will they stop the export of Australian weapons and components to Israel? What is their position on Australian citizens serving with a foreign military? What do they say about Lebanon? None of that has been answered, and a party asking for a vote should answer it.

On AUKUS they are clear enough — they support it, which aligns Australia with an America-first posture and against a settlement in our own region. This is bigger than domestic issues. It is about where Australia stands in the world, and it positions us against peace in the Asia-Pacific and against our largest trading partner. It matters who we support and what behaviour we accept.

Labor and the Liberals are not much better on any of this. But One Nation must be called out on its position, because it is seeing a huge increase in votes — and what it is offering is the illusion of choice. If three parties will not answer the same question, that is not a choice.

Australians should not accept it. Voting for a party that will not state a position on this is not a neutral act.

One Nation supports AUKUS. That aligns us with an America-first posture and with Trump, against peace in the Asia-Pacific and against our largest trading partner. It matters who we support and what behaviour we accept.

My view: One Nation is a divider, not a uniter, and division is what will tear this country apart. For anyone looking for an alternative to Labor and Liberal, I do not believe they are the answer.

So who then? Sovereign Australia. Become a SAPper — a candidate at the coming state and federal elections. We will unite the nation, and we will publish the plan to move it in the direction Australians actually need.
